We’re looking for an environment-focused Roblox builder who understands flow, scale, and gameplay-first layout — not just visuals.

This role isn’t about flashy scenes or overbuilt spaces. It’s about translating a clear blueprint into a clean, modular interior that supports gameplay, systems, and future expansion.

If you can follow structure, think ahead, and build spaces that feel intentional instead of decorative, this will feel familiar.

Roblox Builder / Environment Designer

Project: Atmospheric, hotel-based Roblox game
Role: Roblox Builder / Environment Designer
Contract Type: Fixed-price, milestone-based
Compensation: Paid

 

Role Overview

You will rebuild a fully designed hotel interior into a playable 3D Roblox environment based on a complete 2D layout.

This contract covers interior spaces only. Players will not see the hotel exterior in this phase.

All layout, structure, and flow have already been designed.
Your role is accurate execution, not redesign.

 

What’s Already Provided

  • Complete 2D interior map layout / blueprint

  • Clear room, hallway, wing, and floor structure

  • Moodboards and visual guidelines

  • Studio-provided asset packs

  • Clear scope and build constraints

 

Interior-Only Scope (Important)

This role is strictly interior-focused.

 

        You will not be building:

  • Exterior environments

  • Facades or outer shells

  • Landscaping or outdoor areas

    The interior build must be:

  • Structurally clean and modular

  • Organized for future exterior wrapping

  • Free of hard assumptions that block expansion

  • Easy to integrate with future updates

    You are not expected to design or build the exterior itself.


Responsibilities

  • Translate the provided 2D blueprint into a 3D Roblox interior
     

  • Assemble:

  • Floors and wings

  • Rooms and corridors

  • Service and transition areas
     

  • Maintain correct scale, flow, and navigation

  • Set up clean collision and traversal

  • Use script-friendly structure and naming conventions

  • Apply a basic lighting pass (functional, not cinematic)

  • Maintain visual coherence using provided assets

 

Asset Workflow

  • Primary asset packs are provided by the studio

  • Builder is not expected to model everything from scratch


Provided packs include:

  • Modular hotel interiors

  • Old / worn interior sets

  • Dining and lounge interiors


Minor custom assets:

  • Only if they fit within the agreed time scope

  • Otherwise supplied by the studio via other artists
     

Style Direction

  • Grounded, atmospheric

  • Old, lived-in hotel feel

  • Gameplay-first environment design

  • Clean, readable, intentional spaces

 

Executor Mindset (Important)

This role is for executors, not architects.


You translate blueprints into clean, playable interior spaces while keeping the build future-proof for later expansion — without redesigning the plan.
 

Requirements

  • Proven Roblox building experience

  • Portfolio or shipped Roblox work required

  • Experience collaborating with scripters

  • Organized workspace and clean naming conventions

  • Comfortable working from blueprints, references, and guidelines

  • Open to structured feedback and iteration

Compensation

$700 USD — fixed, non-negotiable


Payment Details:

  • USD / PayPal

  • This payment covers the first building milestone, not the full project scope

  • Strong delivery may lead to additional paid milestones

  • No revenue share
